- Setup Cloudflare CDN: Cloudflare is free through some hosting providers. CDN is a Content Delivery Network and will help speed up the rendering of images.
- Resize Large Images
- Specify Image Dimensions: When you upload one size image and the site has to resize the image on the fly it will slow it down so we upload the image that is the correct size.
- Losslessly Compress Images With Imagify: This will optimize your image. Imagify is free until you hit 25GB which you probably don’t have on your site.
- Turn Off Unnecessary WordPress Settings With WP Disable: I will disable settings in WordPress that consume CPU and slow down your site.
- Clean Up Your Database
- Delete Unused Plugins: I always delete unused plugins before I launch a site, but not everyone does that.
- Ensure all images have alt tags
- Ensure H1 and H2 tags are being used throughout. Only one H1 tag should be used on every page.

You’re probably thinking, all this sounds great but what do I need to provide? Well, I’m glad you asked because we really need very little from you:
- Access to your domain registrar (i.e. GoDaddy, NameCheap, etc.) where you registered your URL. If you don’t have a URL, we can register one for you!
- Content for your website pages: If you have an existing website, no need to reinvent the wheel. We can pull the content over from your old site. If you don’t have a website, then you’ll need to send us basic information for your business like who, what, why, when and where.
- Business Specific Images: We will supply stock images but if you want to use images specific to your business, you’ll need to send those to us.
