FLBlogCon EDU: March 14

FLBlogCon for EducatorsAre you an educator or student who needs to know more about blogging and social media?  If so, you will not want to miss the Florida Blogger & Social Media Conference (FLBlogCon) EDU which is geared towards students and teachers.   This conference will cover implementation, best practices, innovative ideas, and practical use when dealing with the unique student demographic.  The presenters include real teachers who are blogging and using social media, as well as leaders in high tech industry such as Bess Auer and Josh Murdock.

You can choose from the Student Track which covers topics such as blogging best practices, Twitter, Facebook and Widgets and Gadgets for Education.  Or,  there is a Teacher & Administrative Track which covers topics such as Technology Integration, Twitter & Facebook for EDU and Pinterest for Educators.  Y

Both tracks cover a tour of Full Sail University and a bag lunch.

I have been to several of the FLBlogCon conferences and they are very well run.  The educational sessions are amazing and the networking is fantastic.  For only $45 (Teachers and Administrators) and $30 for students, this conference should not be missed.

Please note, the Student Track is geared toward high school students; however, mature middle school students might find it beneficial at the discretion of the teacher.  We do not recommend bringing elementary school students to this conference. All high school and middle school students must be accompanied by a paying teacher who is responsible for the students.

If you would like more information about the conference or to sign up, head on over to the FLBlogCon EDU page.
